My interest in water rocketry started in 2000 after watching the movie October Sky and I’ve been an active member of the water rocket mailing list since 2001 (if you haven’t done so already, I recommend you join immediately). It’s a great way to share ideas and get/give help on anything water rocket related. While this site is aimed at water rocketeers of almost any level, I am aware that some parts may be difficult to understand (most likely due to my inability to explain it properly). I’d be happy to help anyone who has trouble with any of the content found here, just email me (below) and let me know. Finally, PLEASE be careful when launching water rockets. They might not look dangerous, but they store a lot more energy than you think and can do some serious damage. Ulrich Hornstein has compiled a list of ‘mishaps’ that people have experienced over the years; it makes for a very interesting read.
